Reverend Benjamin Ashong was born in Accra, Ghana. He was called into ministry at the age of fifteen. He then became the youth pastor at nineteen years. He was ordained as a reverend minister in 2008 having served faithfully in Global Crossfire Church (GCC). He holds a bachelor degree in social sciences and a diploma in theology.
Rev. Ashong moved from Ghana to UK in 2007 and in January 2010 became a pioneer in promoting the first branch of the GCC in Europe at Ramsgate in Kent, where he serves currently as the Resident Pastor.
He is a good preacher, who has passion and is gifted in bringing the message of the love of God and salvation that is in Christ Jesus to his hearers. He also teaches to equip God’s people with the spiritual knowledge and insights which help people to understand and seek their portion in the full inheritance in Christ. His desire is to see the timeless truths and principles in the Bible made applicable to the renewal and transformation first the communities in Kent and the United Kingdom at large.
Rev. Ashong is married to Mary who is not only a wife and a friend but also a Minister in Crossfire . They are blessed with two children, Comfort and Aaron.
